    Curator, artist management and project development at Cheeseburn Sculpture, a destination for sculpture, design, sound installations and art, in which the public can encounter new and established work in the setting of the historic house and landscaped gardens. Cheeseburn welcomes visitors and artists from around the world over six open weekends per annum.

  • North East Culture Partnership

    Co-managing the North East Culture Partnership (NECP). NECP are the team behind the The Case for Culture - a unique framework for development and growth of the region’s arts and heritage sectors from 2015 through to 2030. In a UK first, the NECP brings together the regions 12 local authorities, 5 universities, Chamber of Commerce with the cultural sector to develop a joined up voice for cultural advocacy and planning.

  • China

    I have developed a number of cultural projects in China with artists, museums and galleries and have delivered a number of curatorial projects in China since 2013. I curated two solo shows in Beijing in 2016, and was part of the curatorial team for the China Western Biennale in Hohhot 2017, Multiple Dimensions in Leshan 2016, Art Beijing 2015 and then curated sculpture for the British Embassy, Beijing. In 2018 i presented a large exhibition by Qi Yafeng at Cheeseburn Sculpture in Northumberland and have recently started research project as Visiting Professor of Practice in Newcastle University Institute for Creative Arts Practice to develop ideas for further creative collaboration between Newcastle University and China.
